Light Painting is a really cool approach to photography - kind of like using gels for portraiture.
The trashed out vehicles were photographed around midnight, under a full moon in the hot California desert. Put your camera on a tripod, set a long exposure and get your colored flashlights out.
The images with the models are a bit different. A special paint is used on them that glows under black lights. It's tricky because you are photographing in an extremely dark area which makes it very challenging.
The end results of light painting, however, are very surreal and magical!
